Wave 1 Delivery Update #4 (The Big One)

Hello, everyone!
We are excited and very relieved to finally announce that our shipment to North American backers, which is by far the largest, is finally scheduled for pickup on March 5th.
Based on the sailing schedule, all the games should end up in our Indiana facility by March 31st at which point final fulfillment will begin.
As far as we know, the Australia ship has docked and should begin final fulfillment very soon. From our understanding, our warehouse is just confirming all addresses before final delivery.
This leaves us with two remaining regions to ship: North America and Asia.
Our factory has told us that "the North America shipment is scheduled to be picked up from our factory this week". We will update you as soon as we hear more.
We are still not sure of the pick up date for the Asia shipment, we’re waiting to hear from the freight forwarder on the pick up schedule.

Wave 1 Delivery Update #2

Hey everyone!
Regarding the three shipments left in limbo: US, UK, and Asia
For the past few weeks, we've been anxiously awaiting updates from our factory, freight forwarder, and fulfillment centers in regards to these three shipments. Although we've been trying since November, we've been unable to get these regions shipped before Chinese New Year.
Massive port delays caused by a worldwide container shortage has put a lot of businesses like ourselves into a state of limbo.
On top of this, and as many of you already know, China basically shuts down for almost the entirety of February due to this holiday.
Chinese New Year ends on February 22nd, and we are striving to get the US, UK, and Asia shipments on the boats by the end of that week.
Estimated travel time for these regions are as follows...
US: 5 - 7 weeks until final delivery to your doorstep
UK: 5 - 7 weeks until final delivery to your doorstep
Asia: 4 - 5 weeks until final delivery to your doorstep
Out of excitement, and under the assumption that all shipments had gone out simultaneously, we'd made premature announcements regarding fulfillment and for that we apologize.
Australia and Europe
The Australia shipment and the EU shipment are making their way to their destinations, the arrival times seem to fluctuate, but it looks as if the Australia shipment will hit the port today. EU looks like it will still be arriving by the end of this month.

We've been renovating our website and our plan was to launch on Valentine's Day and start selling Wave 1 right from our web store. We've always liked the idea of establishing a big event on February 14th, but we're feeling a little deflated this year since our product will still be in the midst of shipping.
For this reason, we've decided to wait until the tail end of March (or whenever boats actually arrive) to open up the store and post our updates.
After EU fulfillment of the campaign, we will be warehousing product in Germany and will be selling and shipping from within the EU via our new web store. Although this surplus will be technically be available by mid-March, we don't feel comfortable selling this product until after the remaining regions have received their rewards first.

Wave 1 Delivery Update #1

Hey backers! It's February!
As we are approaching the delivery of Wave 1, we'd just like to give a more detailed timeline as to when all these games will arrive at the ports...
Wave 1 is massive, so much so that we've been running into some issues finding containers to get everything shipped. Currently, Wave 1 alone required eight 40' (12m) containers last time we checked. The shipment to Europe weighs close to 80,000lbs (36,000 kg).
Even crazier, the US shipment is 2.5x larger than the Europe shipment.
So many games and not enough containers...
We were really hoping to be able to give everyone the tracking information for all the boats on this update. Unfortunately, we've been at the mercy of overseas ports since November.
Our freight forwarder has been vying for priority of our games for months now and information is only trickling to us last. Though, we do gather that the rising Covid numbers in China really threw a wrench in the supply line of all the boats.
This means that we're still waiting on the sailing schedule of a few of the regions. However, because we felt like we couldn't delay this update any further, We've decided to give you the information that we do have!
First off, it looks like Australia and surrounding regions win the Kickstarter lottery this time around. The ship going to Australia will arrive on February 6th. It's anyone's guess as to how long before final fulfillment begins, but we'd estimate about two weeks.
We have 3 more ships that we are still waiting on information for:
The US ship, the UK ship, and the Asia ship.
The fee for over seas transportation has been paid long ago. Truly, we're unaware of what stage these boats are at and all actors in our supply line are doing what they can to get us an update on tracking information. It's pretty wild right now and it seems we're simply taking whatever containers and boats we can get as we can get them.
While we wish we could promise that all regions will have games being shipped to them in February, we simply cannot confirm that until we have tracking for each boat.
Our shipping partners are aware of the issues and are ready and waiting to get these games out to your doorstep!
As soon as we hear back from our freight forwarder, we'll make sure to update everyone with tracking of their respective boats.
Will you be waiting to ship product?
No. We've already learned our lesson from the last campaign and have decided that we will simply instruct our shipping partners to prioritize getting our games to each backer as soon as they can. This means that backers in regions where boats arrive early will get the games earlier.
Brexit is expensive...but not for you.
With Brexit happening as well as some VAT changes in the EU this year, we've had to reanalyze our EU shipment and split it into two separate shipments: one for EU and one for the UK. This means that the shipping information above is for the EU and not for the UK.
In all, these Brexit changes, plus the hiked up container prices cost us an additional 7% on our total shipping bill. We had to do this to make sure that we could save all the UK and EU backers from paying insane fees when the games arrive.

Will I be able to purchase more product in February?
In regards to purchasing anything from Wave 1, we are planning on launching our new web store this month. We are striving to begin selling Wave 1 on Valentine's Day (2/14) this year!
Of course, this is all dependent on boats arriving in February. We do not want to be putting up a web store if the lead times on orders are longer than three weeks.
We will be doing an update in the near future going over the new website, features, and content on the horizon.

The games are moving, baby! Wave 1 is done! Everything is assembled and headed to a town near you! We're looking at about 4-6 weeks of sea travel, another week(ish) at the ports, and then fulfillment will commence!
February here we come!
Kajax will personally be delivering all of your games
We're currently looking into translation costs for the remainder of the game (cards, books, etc.) to see where we can take this.
Italian translations are moving right along and we will continue to post updates on its progress.
Wave 1Availability?
We have a lot of questions from people asking about purchasing Middara or adding more to their order. Since we are so close to shipping, we can't sell anything more at the moment.
...But, we have been renovating our website. Come February, we will be moving to a Shopify format and the plan is to begin selling everything from Wave 1 directly from our website at succubuspublishing.com.
This is a new business model for us and we are excited to see how this goes. To date, we've only sold things through Kickstarter / pre-order format. It will be interesting to begin selling games and have them ship out right away instead of years later!
Currently, we are set up with post-campaign fulfillment warehouses in the USA and Germany. This means that all EU customers purchasing items after-the-fact will not be hit with any customs fees.
As for the UK... well, just like everyone else, we're trying to figure this out.
Of course, we will ship worldwide from our webstore, but shipping costs will obviously vary depending on where you are from.
